Nabil, Piano instructor and collaborative pianist based in Midtown Kansas City. He teaches advanced students for French & Music House. As students progress in their studies (or if they come as experienced students) they will move on to Nabil.
He started giving piano lessons in 2011 to students of all ages. His teaching emphasizes four interconnected categories: playing, listening, reading, and writing.
Similar to learning a new language these four areas of study enhance every student’s musical fluency. He hopes that, through his teaching, his students will gain the skills to enjoy making music for years to come.
“Thanks [Nabil] for all you do to give K a great learning experience.” – Phyllis B.
Nabil began learning piano at the age of 8. During high school he attended Interlochen Arts Camp during the summers. He graduated with a Bachelor of Music in piano performance from Truman State University where he studied piano with Dr. David McKamie.
While at TSU, he was a winner of the school’s Gold Medal Concerto Competition awarding him the opportunity to perform with the Truman Symphony Orchestra. He then went on to graduate with a Master of Music from University of Missouri-Kansas City where he studied piano with John McIntyre.
