Monsieur Léon Maman et Moi Instructor is a recent immigrant from famous Paris, France and has found a new home at French & Music House.
Léon Martini was born and raised in Paris, France to parents Rita and Guiseppe Martini. His father Guiseppe is an immigrant from Palermo, Sicily and moved to Paris to open his now famous dining place, Le resto de Martini. Rita is originally from the city of Nice, is a neurosurgeon and loving mother of Léon, his brother Etienne and sister Julie.
Monsieur Léon is a lover of languages, especially his native French, English, and if you ask nicely, is known to speak Dutch. He moved to Kansas City this year to study English at UMKC and work with Mme Zoé at French & Music House.
His favorite things about the US are (in no particular order): Big hamburgers, baseball (Go Royals!), grocery stores open at 2 a.m. and all the friendly people.
Léon likes to talk about his hometown of Paris, he enjoys teaching French to children, traveling and especially singing. He is fluent in English and Dutch, but prefers to speak French as his mission is to teach children and their parents French.
You will find him every day at French & Music House, except when he is travelling, in which case where will he be next…..
